Full Groom

Bath, blow-dry, brush-out, full haircut to your chosen style, paws, hygiene tidy, nails clipped, ears cleaned.

Bath & Tidy

Bath, blow-dry, brush-out, face/feet tidy, nails, ears. Great for between full grooms.

Puppy Introduction

A gentle first groom designed to build positive associations with the grooming process. No rush, no stress.

De-shedding Treatment

Deep clean, high-velocity blow-out, and professional undercoat removal for heavy shedders.

About me

I do this because I love dogs — full stop.

I started Tailor-made Grooming because I wasn't happy with how a lot of dogs were being treated during the grooming process. Rushed in, rushed out, stressed and anxious. That's not good enough.

I'm fully qualified and continually training. Every dog is different and every groom reflects that. Nervous dogs are especially welcome — I have all the time in the world and I'll never push a dog beyond what it's comfortable with.

How do I book?

How long will the groom take?

Usually 1.5–3 hours depending on breed, size, and coat condition. I'll give you an estimate when booking.

My dog is nervous — is that OK?

Absolutely — nervous dogs are especially welcome. I work slowly, calmly, and never rush. Please do mention it when you get in touch.

What if my dog is matted?

In cases of severe matting, a short clip may be needed for your dog's comfort. I'll always discuss this with you before starting.

Do you groom all breeds?

I groom most breeds. If you're unsure, just ask — I'm happy to have a quick chat about your dog's specific needs before booking.
